Recommended Action:

Vice Chancellor, Business Services, Christopher Dela Rosa, recommends that the Board approve the Measure G Project List Revisions as presented.

Background and Analysis:
Bond List Revisions (BLR) request the Board of Trustees to amend the previously Board-approved bond project list. These are brought to the Board of Trustees when there is a requested change to an existing project’s project name/number, budget, or scope, or when a new project is created or an existing project is canceled.

To assist with reference, implications, and context, there are three types of bond list revisions – Substantive, Non-substantive, and Technical.

Substantive – Establishes a new project, changes an existing project budget by $250,000 or more and/or changes a scope significantly; cancels a Board-approved project. These changes require advanced action for Board approval. Changes are processed in the financial system and reflected in financial reports after Board approval.

Non-Substantive – Changes an existing project budget by less than $250,000 and/or changes scope in minor manner. These changes require advanced action for Board approval. Changes are processed in the financial system and reflected in financial reports after Board approval.

Technical – Changes that are routine or administrative in nature and necessary for accurate and timely reporting. These changes will be submitted to the Board for approval by ratification after they are processed in the financial system and reflected in financial reports.
1. Project Close-out – Remaining budget balances at project financial close-out will be applied to the corresponding Board-approved Foothill Campus, De Anza Campus, Central Services, Educational Technology Services (ETS) or District-wide Contingency
2. Program overhead cost and budget allocations
3. Recording of quarterly interest earnings revenue and budget to Program Contingency
4. Project number changes
5. Minor project name changes
6. Minor budget correction

Type: The proposed Measure G Bond List Revision (BLR) No. 32 is a substantive change.
