*Advancement in the tenure process is contingent upon having met all requirements including having served a complete probationary contract year. A probationary faculty employee is deemed to have completed a probationary contract year if he or she provides service for 75 percent of the academic year. If the probationary faculty employee serves less than 75 percent of an academic year, the year shall be considered a “prob zero” year and shall not count for tenure. In such cases the tenure process is interrupted by the prob zero year and shall be resumed in the subsequent academic year in which the faculty employee is able to perform services for 75 percent of the academic year.
