Classified Senate Presidents Consultation:
VC Classified Senate Vice President Tatiana Lawler Sweeney: Commented in support of items 1.1, and 5.5. A Statement Read in opposition to Trustee Lichtl having adjourned the October Board meeting in memory of Charlie Kirk and other behaviors by Trustees.
OC Classified Senate President Berenice Rodriguez: Commented in support of items 3.1, 11.1, 16.1, 16.2, 1.1, and 5.5. A statement read in support of DEI, and opposed to opposition to Trustee Lichtl having adjourned the October Board meeting in memory of Charlie Kirk and other behaviors by Trustees that could jeopardize our accreditation.
MC Classified Senate President Kristen Robinson: Commented in support of items 1.1, 5.5. A statement was read in support of DEI, and concerns were expressed regarding the ability of Trustees to remain impartial and avoid personal biases.
DAC Classified Senate President Diana Martin: Commented in support of items 1.1, and read a statement in support of DEI.
Academic Senate Presidents Consultation
The Academic Senate Presidents shared a joint statement expressing concern that an individual Trustee conducted independent public records searches of employee emails and attempted to influence personnel decisions, actions they say violate Board Policy, Administrative Procedures, and proper governance roles. They warn that such unilateral actions create a climate of intimidation, harm collegiality, and risk the district’s accreditation. The Senates unanimously request a written commitment from the Board affirming that policy violations will not continue and that Trustees will act collectively, ethically, and in the best interest of the District.

Associated Student Government Presidents Consultation
ASMC President Eva Covarrubias commented in support of items 4.1, 16.1, 16.2, 18.1, 12.1, and commented that to date, there has been very little correspondence/involvement by the Student Trustee.
OCASG President Adriana Castillo: Commented in support of items 7.3, 12.1, and encouraged the Board to develop a resolution in support of DEI.
ASVC President Kamea Kellner: Commented in support of items 12.1, 16.1, 18.1, and seconded the concerns of the other students pertaining to Trustee conduct.
