KMSD uses a policy governance model in which district policies are set by the board of education and aligned with the existing strategic plan. Operating rules and regulations (KMORRs) follow board policies to ensure a high-quality educational model, a high-quality curriculum, legal compliance, fiduciary responsibility, and efficient management of resources.
